Final thought on the Entrepreneurial Journey

How to start the Entrepreneurial Journey I have thought a lot about what it means to be an entrepreneur a lot during these last few months. I think that one needs to figure out firstly what they want their life to look like. Think about what makes you not want to have a job. Think about why you want to do something that forces you to be creative, and on your own. How come you have that desire in you? I think when you recognize that, when you feed that desire and realize it, then you have your Why. This will allow you to have clarity on what you really want in life, what you want your life to look like. I would say that this is the most important thing to remember and identify on your journey to be an entrepreneur. You will face lots of uncertainty and challenges doing your own business or creating an idea for products that haven't existed yet, or starting a new service that hasn't been given yet. Remember what excites you and what you hate about where you're at right now i...

Gratitude

How to be grateful at all times Have you ever thought about why it's hard to be grateful even in hard times? Why do people say it's important to be grateful in times when life is hard? I feel like people often say that, but we don't hear the reason why it's important to be grateful, especially why to have that attitude in hard times. It's easy to be thankful when life's going well, and you have what you want, and nothing is changing too much. However, we forget all the sudden the good things we have, when something bad comes along all too often.  In the videos about an attitude of gratitude, and the readings that I had this week for my class about how to be grateful and positive, really helped me understand what it actually means to be grateful. We usually think of it as being thankful for what is happening in life at the moment and thankful for what we have. But, I think I learned that it means not letting those negative things that can happen in life, affect...

Change-Maker

How to become a Change-Maker Have you thought about now what it takes to make a lasting impact in the world? How does one make a difference in their ideas, innovation, creation, and service? I have thought about the thing that makes people stand out, and why others don't stand out. I think it involves a couple things, but one of them is adaptability, and being able to think ahead, quickly, and think unselfishly. One of the keys to success I believe is to be always unselfish, striving to serve others before yourself. I read a talk this week that was titled, "Are we not all beggars?" by Jeffrey R. Holland. It was really helpful to me to remember that we are all in the same boat in this life, just striving to make it back to our Heavenly Father. He loves all of us the same, and we all have similar needs to be met in life too. We have more similarities than differences in the end. The talk was about how we need to be more merciful to others, have compassion to people that ar...
